Every relationship and evangelistic opportunity is different. Depending on the amount of time you have with someone, you'll enter the below at a different place. TYPES OF RELATIONSHIPS 1. Intimate relationship: Family or close friend. Although you never know how much time you'll have with this person, they could die, be in prayer always looking for opportunity to move from 1 to 2 below which will typically lead to 3 and 4 in the same conversation..
2. Ongoing but sporadic relationship: Someone you expect to have future contact with. Pray that God shows you how this person would best receive God's love and how to do so. (#1 below). They will be much more open to discussing 2-4 below if they've been touched by God's love through you.
3. One time meeting with no limit on how long you have to talk. You may have an opportunity to share some of God's love with this person, by encouraging them or advising them in an area they are having difficulty. You only have one chance to share. Start with 2, 3 or 4 below.
4. One time meeting with a very limited amount of time to talk. There may not be time to start with #2. Start with 3 or 4 below.
