SALVATION IS THE JOB OF THE HOLY SPIRIT

Salvation is 100% the work of God. We are the messengers. Consider someone bringing medication to someone that will heal them. The medication does all the work.

1. The Holy Spirit convicts of sin and reveals the nature of Jesus

"When he comes, he will convict the world of guilt in regard to sin and righteousness and judgment: in regard to sin, because men do not believe in me;"

John 16:8-9

2. God draws the unbeliever to Himself

"No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him, and I will raise him up at the last day."

John 6:44

3. The job of the believer is to present the Gospel

for, "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved." How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? And how can they preach unless they are sent? As it is written, "How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!"
